One of the basic elements of Improvisation is getting suggestions from the audience, and in that spirit, we hope you will reach out with any questions you might have. In the meantime, here are some common questions we are asked.
Can anyone do this?
Absolutely. These workshops require no previous experience, and we can accommodate all levels of physical ability. All that is required is a desire to play, and programs can be tailored to meet specific needs.
What if I’m not funny?
Improvisation is not just about being funny. It’s just about being. It can be used to create amazing comic scenes or develop funny ideas, but it can also be used to explore ideas related to grief, loss, fear, anything within the human experience. At the same time, more often than not, comedy reveals itself all on it’s own.
How much will this cost?
Well, of course, that depends on the size and scope of the program, and travel requirements. Our rates are comparable to most artist-in-residence programs and we don’t travel with a back-up band. Unless that’s an option. We’ll totally take one if the sponsor so wants.
